Statement of Faith

• We believe the Bible is God’s Word, the final authority for faith, doctrine, and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

• We believe in one eternal God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—Creator of all things. (Matthew 28:19-20)

• We believe all people are created in God’s image but are separated from Him by sin and in need of salvation through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26, John 3:5-8)

• We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of the Virgin Mary, who died for our sins, rose from the dead, and now intercedes for us in Heaven. (Matthew 1:18-23, 1 Corinthians 15)

• We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and all who trust in Him are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God. (Romans 5:1-8, 1 John 1:7)

• We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers united in Him. (Ephesians 1:22-23)

• We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal life for the saved and eternal separation for the lost. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:11-15)

• We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers for godly living, service, and sharing the Gospel with the world. (John 16, Acts 1:8)

• We affirm the “Baptist Faith and Message” as a faithful expression of Biblical teaching.
